We were born and raised at a time when our family did not have the resources to provide the basic life necessities. Every day survival was a constant battle. We saw families and children parish because of basic preventable illnesses, lack of food and shelter. Often grandparents would stepped in to make sure that we had a meal to eat (even if it was once a day) and clothes to wear. From sunrise to sunset they struggled to make a little income to support the children and community. Mothers on Mission foundation was started as a dedication to those mothers and grandmothers; who even when they did not have, gave the little they had to their children. My grandmother use to take in orphaned children off the street, brought them into her house and cared for them as if they were her own. As we were blessed later in life because of their dedication to our wellbeing, it now time to extend the blessing and sacrifices made by our mothers and grandmothers. Our foundation (AMC Network Fistula Organization DBA Mothers on Mission) will allow us to extend that unconditional love throughout many communities and with your support, we can bring a smile to someone who has only known pain and suffering throughout their life. We are on a mission to make the world a better place for men, women and children.
